Overview

Generate 1-50 US ZIP codes at once, each a random 5-digit number within the range the USPS actually assigns codes from (00501-99950), with an optional ZIP+4 suffix. Like any randomly generated code, these are properly formatted but not verified against the USPS's actual assigned-code database, so they're suited for populating test data or a form mockup, not for anything that needs a real, deliverable address. Runs entirely client-side.

Best for: Populating test data in a form or database that expects a ZIP code field

How to use this tool

  1. Set a count. Generate 1 to 50 ZIP codes at once.
  2. Toggle ZIP+4 if needed. Add the 4-digit delivery-point suffix, or leave it off for a plain 5-digit code.
  3. Copy the results. Grab all generated codes at once with a single click.

Frequently asked questions

They're properly formatted and generated within the numeric range the USPS actually assigns from, but they aren't checked against the real assigned-code database, so a specific generated code may or may not correspond to an actual delivery area. Use these for test data, not for anything that needs to be genuinely deliverable.

ZIP+4 adds a 4-digit suffix after the standard 5-digit ZIP code to identify a more specific delivery segment, like a particular block or building. It's optional on most mail but sometimes required by systems that expect the fuller format.
